Installation of the Second Jacket at Phase 11

With the efforts of Iranian specialists, installation of the SPD11A jacket, as the second jacket of Phase 11 of the South Pars Gas Field, has been successfully completed.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars Group, Dr. Hamidreza Saghafi, CEO of Petropars Group, announced that reaching the jacket installation stage in the Phase 11 development project is the result of cohesion, organizational alignment, and the technical expertise of Petropars personnel. Continuous and coordinated collaboration with Pars Oil and Gas Company, combined with structured planning and joint supervision of equipment readiness, enabled the safe execution of the jacket installation. He emphasized that this achievement reflects the engineering and project management capabilities of Iranian specialists.
He further stated that operational teams executed equipment mobilization and offshore coordination with full commitment. The synergy between Petropars Group and Pars Oil and Gas Company has provided the foundation for successful implementation of national projects and sustained progress in Phase 11.
The SP11A jacket, standing approximately 77 meters tall and weighing more than 4,000 tons including appurtenances, was installed at a water depth of around 70 meters and approximately 6.5 kilometers from the SPD11B location in the Persian Gulf. Pile driving operations are expected to be completed within approximately 45 days.
Dr. Saghafi concluded that this project demonstrates the capability of Iranian experts and the collective commitment of Petropars teams. Development of Phase 11 will continue with the same technical approach and sustained cooperation with Pars Oil and Gas Company.
It is noteworthy that following the withdrawal of international companies and the subsequent assignment of the project to Petropars Group, the development of Phase 11 has progressed step by step relying exclusively on domestic expertise, achieving tangible results aligned with national interests.
