etroleum Engineering Department of PPL Limited helps the company to discover, develop and produce new hydrocarbon resources utilizing state-of-the -art engineering methods of geosciences, reservoir engineering and production engineering. The first activity before any vast investment on oil and gas E&P projects is to discover and understand the basin and the prospects that are expected to hold hydrocarbon resources carried out by geosciences team then followed with an exploration well in order to prove the reservoir. PPL /PED utilizes state-of-the-art reservoir engineering methods to estimate the amount of reserve and production level that could be achieved and considers the required investment and there by commerciality of the project would be verified taking into account improved and enhanced oil/gas recovery ( IOR/EOR).
