Successful Start-Up of Fahliyan-85 Well in South Azadegan by Petropars

  2025 December 06
The South Azadegan shared field development project has entered a new phase of production growth following the successful start-up of the Fahliyan-85 well by Petropars, increasing the field’s daily production capacity to 75,000 barrels.

On December 2, 2025, the Fahliyan-85 well was successfully commissioned at Wellhead No. 79 with a production capacity of 3,500 barrels per day. Crude oil from this well is transferred via a 2,823-meter-long 8-inch flowline to Manifold No. 10, which had previously been commissioned by Petropars.

Dr. Hamidreza Saghafi attributed this achievement to the technical capability, commitment, and teamwork of Petropars personnel, noting that the well start-up was the result of continuous effort and precise technical management.

With the addition of Fahliyan-85, the number of producing wells in the GC development project of the South Azadegan field has reached 43, raising total daily production capacity to 75,000 barrels.

Mr, Nari, Project Manager, highlighted that this success demonstrates Petropars’ capability in executing critical and sensitive oil industry projects and expressed appreciation for the employer’s trust and contractors’ cooperation.

Dr. Saghafi concluded by emphasizing that this achievement reflects increased efficiency and self-reliance within the national oil industry and is a source of pride for the Petropars family.
