Petropars Ready for Technical Cooperation with Russian Firms
During the signing ceremony of the cooperation memorandum between Petropars Group and the Russian Oil and Gas Union, Dr. Hamidreza Saghafi, CEO of Petropars, expressed satisfaction over the agreement and emphasized the readiness of his company for deep technical and engineering collaboration with Russian energy firms.
According to Petropars' Public Relations and International Affairs Department, Dr. Saghafi underscored the Group's status as Iran’s largest exploration and production (E&P) company and highlighted its extensive experience in executing complex international oil and gas projects.
He stated:
“Petropars has consistently proven its capabilities through the successful delivery of major and technically demanding projects. Our collaboration with the Russian Oil and Gas Union presents a valuable opportunity for both sides to benefit from each other’s strengths and advance shared strategic objectives.”
Dr. Saghafi pointed to the ongoing political and economic strategic alignment between Iran and Russia, adding that Petropars is carefully evaluating the technical capacities of Russian partners to integrate them into current and future projects.
He expressed optimism that the newly signed agreement would pave the way for deeper technical cooperation and successful joint ventures, contributing to the growth of both nations’ energy sectors.
Dr. Saghafi concluded by emphasizing that knowledge exchange and the joint application of engineering expertise would enhance competitiveness, raise technological standards, and demonstrate the mutual commitment of both countries to strengthening their bilateral energy relations.
