Abbas Razmi, HSE Director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), along with his accompanying delegation, conducted an inspection of Petropars’ operational and logistical bases, including the Kish Completion Technology (KCT) plant and the Welltarget2 drilling rig at Phase 11B of South Pars.

According to Petropars' Public Relations and International Affairs Office, the visit aimed to evaluate Petropars’ compliance with international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and to ensure the protection of both personnel and the environment.

During the inspection, safety and health procedures at the KCT plant and the operational status of the Welltarget2 drilling rig were thoroughly assessed. All safety permits and documentation were reviewed, and proactive measures to enhance workplace safety were emphasized.

Razmi commended Petropars’ efforts in achieving high standards of employee safety and environmental protection. He confirmed that emergency evacuation systems, firefighting infrastructure, and personal protective equipment were all operational and properly maintained.

He also praised the living facilities and medical services provided for staff, noting that the drilling rig's environmental emissions were within acceptable limits.

Highlighting the significance of Phase 11 within the national compression project, Razmi stated:

"Petropars' commitment to HSE standards plays a vital role not only in field development but also in strengthening operational infrastructure for sustainable energy production."

He concluded by encouraging the continuation and further strengthening of HSE initiatives, underlining that NIOC’s monitoring will remain active to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

Mustafa Alami, HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) Director of Petropars, led a detailed evaluation of safety, health, and operational readiness across several Petropars facilities, including the Kish logistical base, the Kish Completion Technology (KCT) plant, and the Welltarget2 drilling rig at South Pars Phase 11B.

According to Petropars’ Public Relations and International Affairs Office, the review covered all operational aspects, including logistical infrastructure, support facilities, and drilling rigs, focusing on emergency preparedness, fire protection systems, medical services, and operational safety protocols.

Alami emphasized that given the sensitivity of oil and gas projects, preventive safety measures were implemented at the highest possible level.

Emergency drills were carried out, health protocols at medical clinics were reviewed, and operational control procedures were re-examined to ensure full compliance.

He added that proactive steps were identified for further enhancing safety standards, and new plans were formulated to optimize safety and health systems across operational units.

Alami praised the dedication and teamwork of Petropars’ HSEQ and operational staff, stating:

"Strict adherence to safety and health standards across all operational bases—from support facilities to drilling rigs—is a top priority at Petropars."

He concluded by stressing the importance of continuous monitoring, strict compliance with safety instructions, and enhancing the capacity of operational teams, all aimed at ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality in Petropars’ ongoing and future projects.
