According to Petropars Group Public Relations and International Affairs, in meeting in this regard organized on in April 6, 2023 in “Saff - Rosemmond” Company at Qeshm Island, the officials of the company provided a report on taken actions to progress needed amendments on the jacket of “Farzad B” project.
In this meeting, Pars Oil and Gas Company CEO, Mr. Mohammad Hussein Motejali, emphasized on the necessity of accelerating the operation of making amending changes the jacket of “Farzad B” project and requested for implementing mutual technical agreements.
Then, Petropars Group CEO, Dr. Farrokh Alikhani, pointed out the needed engineering acts to make necessary amendments on the jacket of “Farzad B” project and asserted: “one can accelerate the procedure of construction completion by managing and supplying needed parts and equipment and for the same reason, a specialized meeting with be held in Tehran next week to supply needed merchandises.”
In this meeting attended by a group of Pars Oil and Gas Company managers, both parties’ experts studied technical points and necessary recommendations to remove existing barriers on relevant agreements.
Noteworthy, Farzad B joint gas field is located in the Persian Gulf neighboring Iran/KSA marine border in 85km from the east of Bushehr and 35km from “Farzad A” field and in situ gas volume of this field is about 29.3 trillion cubic meters of which about 23 trillion cubic meters is located in Iran.
