Petropars strives to constantly improve health and safety of its employees and contractors, while protecting the environment and improving the quality of our assets through implementing HSE and quality excellence systems with sustaining and meeting high environmental standards.

Petropars HSE and quality manuals provide the required structure to ensure that proper attention is given to our Projects. These manuals are based on international standards of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management Systems and constitute the policies to be applied through company activities.

Project Management teams which are assisted by the Corporate HSEQ manager meet HSE and quality legislations during all engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning phases.

Company Responsibilities

Petropars ensures achieving the following issues:
  • Improving health, safety, and welfare of staff and contractors during  projects ;
  • Minimizing adverse environmental effects while achieving sustainable development
  • Utilizing state of the art management systems to assure product quality

Petropars aims to meet its corporate mission along with respecting social and environmental issues, hence emphasizing an everlasting commitment to preserving Health, Safety, Environment and Quality throughout all activities and areas of work. Petropars aims at achieving sustainable development by respecting employee rights, environmental protection, community involvement, supplier/contraction relations and stakeholder interests. At the corporate level, the HSEQ department coordinates important requirements and improves overall performance.

 Subcontractors and Suppliers

In order to create a common language, Petropars has established a quality management system (QMS), HSE Management System (HSEMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) to be conformed by its contractors and suppliers.

Legal Obligations

Petropars acknowledges all regulations and standards by Iran Institute of Standards and Industrial Research, Islamic Republic of Iran's Department of Environment, Health & Safety procedures set by the Iranian Petroleum Standards (IPS), and Iranian occupational health and Safety rules legislated by the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.Petropars respects the quality, health, safety and environmental regulations of concerned countries, pertaining to its international projects.

HSE Group

In addition to establishing a HSE Management System, qualified personnel are assigned to consult management on all aspects of Health, Safety and the Environment. This group is also responsible for developing and reviewing HSE procedures and monitoring subcontractor activities with periodical audits to ensure that all operations, corporate departments and projects follow and respect Health, Safety and Environmental performance standards. Petropars communicates closely with legislation and standardization bodies, to stay informed and up to date of regulation changes, standards and procedures.

Quality

Petropars ensures that all services supplied to the client meet required specifications and are in accordance with relevant standards. The comprehensive Quality policy and Quality Management System utilized by Petropars ensures effective integration of all activities and processes in a structured and procedural manner.

Petropars requires from its subcontractors and vendors to implement necessary Quality Management System elements throughout their work.

Training

All employees receive necessary instructions and training to enable them to carry out their work and responsibilities in compliance with HSE and quality policies.
Everyone is to follow and implement Health, Safety and Environment applicable procedures to their workplace.
 
 

Organizational excellence

Petropars, as an international company, pays close attention to client satisfaction, effective marketing, quality improvement, productive operational processes, assessment, and learning in order to constantly improve its organizational processes.
Thus Petropars has initiated an EFQM model, to achieve organizational performance improvement, continual assessments, corrective and preventive actions, in order to expedite its path of becoming an excellent organization in the field of oil and gas.
 

Membership in Oil and Gas Producers (OGP)

The International Association of Oil & Gas producers (OGP) was formed in 1974 to develop effective communication between the upstream industry and an increasingly complex network of international regulators, and is currently the most reliable source in the oil and gas industry.
Petropars along with 65 well-established international oil and gas companies became a member of OGP in March 2007.
Petropars with the permission from OGP has begun to develop and produce guidelines and procedures of this association in Farsi.
Petropars is implementing its HSE management system in accordance with OGP procedures and guidelines – as the most reliable source in oil and gas field. 
The HSE management system facilitates continuous improvement of HSE activities to provide sustainable protection against human, financial and environmental losses.
