Loading of the first Pars 2 LPG freight from phase 19 of South Pars Gas Field / Petropars to develop Farzad B gas field
The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company announced the completion and operation of the first tonnage export wharf of Tonbak service-export port by the beginning of this winter.
According to Shana, quoting Pars Oil and Gas Company, Mohammad Meshkinfam, on the sidelines of a field visit to the process of complementary activities of South Pars projects, announced the readiness of Tonbak service-export port for exporting the first bulk freight of Pars 2 gas refineries by the end of this year and said: Execution activities of construction of a loading and exporting LPG (propane and butane) of Tonbak service-export port will be completed by the end of November and after carrying out activities related to the commissioning of this pier, the possibility of transferring and exporting the first loading of LPG from Phase 19 refinery through this port Will be available by the end of this year.
Meshkinfam about the negotiation process for signing the contract for the development of the Farzad-B Gas joint field and the published news that the Indian company was not involved in the project said:
The Indian Oil and Gas Company (ONGC) has not yet taken any serious steps to participate in the project due to US sanctions against Iran, so preparations are underway to develop this joint field, and a contract for the development of the Farzad-B gas field is coming soon. Signed between the National Oil Company (NIOC)as the client and the Petropars as the contractor.
He stated that there are no obstacles for the presence of Indians and investment in the development of this field so the contract for the development of this gas field with Petropars Company will be sent to the Indian side for the necessary information and studies, so that if they wish to participate in the development plan of Farzad joint gas field, the necessary actions will be taken.
