Dr. Alikhani Emphasizes Addressing Challenges of Petropars Group with Focus on Innovation and Technology
Dr. Farrokh Alikhani emphasized addressing the challenges of the Petropars Group by supporting elites, organizing technology events, and creating an innovation and technology ecosystem.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Petropars Group, Dr. Alikhani, CEO of the Petropars Group, in a meeting attended by Hassan Hadadpour, Deputy for Research at Sharif University of Technology, Saeed Jamshidi, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the university, and several senior managers of the Petropars Group at the Petropars Innovation Center, discussed the latest activities of the center, such as reviewing proposals by technical committees and planning future events, specialized meetings, and establishing the foundations of an innovation and technology ecosystem to address the technological needs of the Petropars Group and expand specialized communications.
Dr. Alikhani highlighted the activities of the Innovation Center in four specialized areas and emphasized the support of elite students, the recruitment of interns in various fields such as technical, engineering, and management, the recruitment of specialized personnel, and targeted student visits to operational areas.
The CEO of the Petropars Group noted: "In the field of technological and innovation-driven projects, holding events such as 'Reverse Pitch' and 'Idea Pitch' to address the needs and challenges of the Petropars Group are among the actionable initiatives in this area."
He continued: "Regarding the establishment of the innovation-technology ecosystem, the Innovation Center should coordinate activities such as sessions to understand the foundations of the technology-innovation ecosystem using the capacities of the University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology, holding 'Capsule Course' sessions for managers and experts of the Petropars Group, inviting prominent specialists, collaborating with the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and the Sharif University of Technology Science and Technology Park for specialized consultations to establish the innovation ecosystem within the Petropars Group."
Dr. Alikhani concluded the meeting by stating: "Holding specialized sessions in various knowledge areas with different faculties, establishing connections with various university departments such as the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management and Economics, and the Faculty and Research Institute of Energy are notable measures in this regard."
