Our Projects South Pars Phase 1 Offshore

SP1 Production Platform (SPP1)

The Offshore facilities are located in the Persian Gulf, 105-Km from Assaluyeh, in water depths of about 60 to 70 meters. These facilities include 2 well-head platforms, Living Quarters, Production Platform, Flare and connective bridges.

The Production Platform (SPP1) consists of two main sections:

  • SPP1 Jacket
  • SPP1 Topside

The SPP1- Jacket roll-up process was carried out with the support of 6 (100-ton) cranes SPP1 Jacket

The Jacket is designed to withstand about 6500 tons of weight. It was built in Bandar Abbas by Iran Offshore Engineering & Construction company, which was then sea fastened and sailed out into position at sea.

The jacket has six legs, weights about 3700 tons and consists of :

  • Mud Mattes
  • Sacrificial Anodes
  • Caisson
  • Boat Landing
  • Piles
  • Riser Level

After load out and sea fastening stages the Jacket was transported by the Abuzar 110 barge and installed into position at sea

SPP1 Topside

The platform is a three level open module, 36m wide by 35m long. Fluids from the main Wellhead and Satellite Platforms are routed to a main fold which enables production from either platform to be routed to any of two processing trains.
The processing trains are identical and interchangeable, and consist of:

  • Primary Gas / Condensate separation
  • Gas Dehydration by TEG
  • Condensate Dewatering
  • Routing of commingled gas & condensates to 32” submarine pipelines

Power generator facilities, sea water lift pumps, fire water pumps and desalination and potabilization packages are also located in this platform.

The SPP1 topside was transported and installed by the SADRA FLB-124 float over Barge.
