Phase 1 gas refinery is developed north of Assaluyeh in an estimated area of 138 hectares in order to filter condensates from offshore facilities.

Reception facilities consist of :

• Slug catcher
• Inlet gas separators.

Fluids delivered by 32” submarine pipelines will be separated into gas and condensate streams in the reception facilities and then routed to dedicated processing units for further treatments.

 

 

The processing facilities consist of two independent and identical trains, which include the following units:

• Gas Sweetening
• Gas Dehydration
• Gas Mercaptans Removal
• Gas Dew pointing
• NGL Vaporization
• Gas Compression
• Condensate Polishing
• Seawater Desalination
• Steam Generation & Distribution
• Sulfur solidification & Forming
