Our Projects South Pars Phase 12

South Pars Phase 12

  General Information:

Based on its proven track record and commitment to deliver world class projects on schedule and within budget, Petropars has also been awarded the contract to develop the South Pars Gas Field Phase 12 on nomination basis based on buy-back scheme which has been approved by High Economic Council.

Phase 12 field is the south eastern block of the South Pars Gas Field and is on the border with Qatar and covers an area equal to 150 km2. The initial Wet Gas In-place for the South Pars Gas Field has been estimated 501.4 TCF wet gas (approximately 471.3 TCF dry gas). SP12 Block with volume of 35 TCF wet gas contains almost 7% of South Pars Gas Field estimated dry gas.

This field shall be developed to produce 3000 MMSCFD reservoir fluids from three wellhead platforms, 1000 MMSCFD each, and to transport the fluids, after separation of free water to the Onshore Gas Plant which is located in Tombak area some 65 km west of Assaluyeh, where the onshore treatment facilities are installed at a distance of approximately 145 Km from offshore dedicated block.
