TEHRAN (Shana): Iranian petroleum minister appointed Ahmad Qalebani as the managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

In a decree issued on Saturday, the petroleum minister referring to Mr. Qalebani said: considering your commitment and valuable experiences, you are appointed as the deputy petroleum minister and managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). Qalebani replaces Saifollah Jashnsaz in the post.

Before appointing the job, Mr. Qalebani held the post of managing director of SAIPA, Iranian Automaker Company.
