SP4&5 Offshore Information
|
|
|
The offshore section consists of four parts:
1. Wellhead Platforms
Each of the two SPD5 and SPD6 platforms consist of a four-legged jacket weighing 1200 tons as well as deck weighing 2400tons, installed 60 meters deep and 10 km apart.
The most important functions of the platforms are as follows :
-
Independently Testing the fluids exiting from each well bore in order to survey the wells.
-
Separation of gas, condensate as well as free and condensed water.
-
Degassing oily water up to 0.1% by volume.
-
Separation of the floating hydrocarbons from the free & condensed water up to 40 PPM.
-
Pumping MEG solution into the sea lines in order to prevent hydrating and corrosion inside the subsurface sealines. Such operations are conducted from the onshore plant, while for temporary functions such as maintenance, wells surveillance and other periodic operations personnel shall have access to the platforms by means of boat or helicopter.
2. Bridges and Flares
The Bridge Connection Platform
-
2 tripod jackets each weighing 410 tons as well as 2 pilesweighing 450 tons each.
-
2 tripod support structures each weighing 115 tons.
-
4 bridges, each weighing 183 tons.
Flare decks
-
2 tripod jackets, each weighing 406 tons, as well as piles weighing 450 tons each.
-
2 tripod towers each weighing 149 tons.
-
2 deck structures each weighing 90 tons.
3. Wells
A total of 24 wells are being drilled in these two phases.
4. Sea-lines
-
Two 32" Sea-lines (102 km from phase 4 and 92 km from phase 5) to transport the well fluids from the well to the onshore plant.
-
Two 4" pipes (102 km from phase 4 and 92 km from phase 5) to transport the MEG.
