Minister of Petroleum: Progress in Phase 12 of South Pars is Remarkable and Promising
The Minister of Petroleum, Rostam Ghasemi, and the entourage visited the sites of Phases 12 and 19 on Aban 11, 1391 (November 1, 2012).
According to a report by the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars, upon their arrival at the Site of Phase 12, the Minister of Petroleum and the entourage were warmly received and welcomed by Mousa Souri, the Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) including other managers and directors of POGC, Dr. Akbari, Project Manager of Phase 12 Site of South Pars Gas Field, Pileh-Chiyan, Project Manager of Phase 19 of South Pars Gas Field, some managers and directors of Petropars, Phase 12 Site Manager, Salehi, as well as Mr. Alavi who is POGC’s Manager stationed in Phase 12 Site.
In the course of this visit, Dr. Akbari, Project Manager of Phase 12 Site of South Pars Gas Field delivered a report on the trend of progress made in the Refinery Section of Phase 12 and briefed the Minister of Petroleum and the entourage on progress made in different sections.
Upon his visit to EPC2, EPC3 and Sub-Station 1, and after review of the circumstances and trend of recruitment of new workforce in the said Site, the Minister of Petroleum commented that the progress in Phase 12 of South Pars was remarkable and promising, and expressed hope that the Site goes operational in Bahman 1391 (February 2013).
Subsequently, the Minister of Petroleum and the entourage visited Phase 19 of South Pars Gas Field in the course of which Pileh-Chiyan, Project Manager of Phase 19 delivered a comprehensive report on the activities and operations performed and the progress made in Phase 19.
